Cooling Tune-Up

  • Install gauges and check operating pressures
  • Check voltage and amperage to all motors with meter
  • Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks
  • Refrigerant pressure
  • Temperature drop
  • Lubricate all moving parts (if applicable)
  • Check belt and adjust tension (if applicable)
  • Visual inspection of filter, replacement at additional charge
  • Check start capacitor and potential relay (if applicable)
  • Check compressor contactor
  • Verify compressor starting capability
  • Check all wiring connections
  • Inspect evaporator coil if it's accessable (extra charges may apply if cleaning is found to be necessary)
